What were they thinking with the Pink on the cover of the 1978 CHS Yearbook?

I mean really!  Are you like me?  Did you go and pickup your yearbook near the close of our sophomore year and see that cover and think, “Pink?  Why isn’t it, oh I don’t know, how about… RED?!”

But that wasn’t the end of it, open the cover and we were greeted with different colored pages!  Oh-yeah!  That was a great idea for reproducing pictures onto!  DUH!

Okay, maybe I’m over-reacting a little, but come on… What were they thinking?  Those “pumpkin”, “light avocado” and “brown” pages?  Whose color scheme was that.  This probably wouldn’t bother me as much except you can’t really see any detail in the pictures when they’re printed on colored paper.  And you can just about forget about getting any type of decent scanned image off them.

There it’s been said.  I have stewed on that every single time I look at that particular yearbook, and yes, I still do.  But at least know I have aired my grievance with the “universe” and I should feel better, right?  ; )
