It seems people have been dropping by Facebook to checkout our class page. Now granted, we don’t know who these “people” are, could be classmates, could be Russian hackers looking for a backdoor. No matter who they are, it would indicate an increased interest into the CHS Class of 1980!

So how about some new content! I spent the better part of an hour combing through our 3 yearbooks looking for “winter” pictures. What I found was the photographers for the yearbook took winter pictures of either cars in the snow, or pictures of the “Skiing gym class”.

So with no further ado, enjoy winter during our high school days!

Look at all the “classic cars”, Pintos and Mavricks, Oh My! (78-79)
Do you remember what those 2 vertical digits (“23”) on the left end of the license plate stood for?
Were you on the ski trip to Mt. Lacrosse in `78-79 with Steve Howes?
Skiing gym class – `79-80, Rhonda do you remember those classes?!

  1. I did the Wednesday night skiing at Chestnut. Geez was it cold! And I was/am a terrible skier. I live in Colorado and don’t ski, but instead always tell folks I learned to ski in Iowa at Chestnut.
