“X” Marks The Spot…

This is the central info point for anything related to the Clinton High Class of 1980, so if you have news or photos to share, please contribute them by sending them to the “Postmaster”.

Some of you may be saying, “Hey!  Can’t we do this all through Facebook?”  And the simple answer is , “Yes, but….”

… Remember MySpace?  It was the be-all-end-all of social media sites waaaay back in the 2000’s.  And now it’s all but forgotten (Poor Rupert Murdoch, I believe he paid something like $35M for it and sold it in 2011 for less than $5M!)  My point is, by maintaining our own site, we are not at the whim of the web.  Until the Internet itself is replaced, there will be a WWW (that’s world wide web) and we will have our own content and it won’t disappear… we control it!

Not to mention, although YOU may be on Facebook, NOT EVERYONE else is (nor do they necessarily wanna be!)

The only way there will be new stuff here to look at is if you send it in.  So let it be known that we have leapt right into the 21st century and we are looking for your content/comments.  It doesn’t matter what it is, if you want to share it, we will help you do just that.  But remember “it takes a village”, or something like that.  So….

Pass the word and start cruising the “information super-highway” with us! (…that sounds so “Al Gore-ish”!  You remember him don’tcha, he invented the the Internet!)
