Happy 10th Birthday!

It may be hard to believe, but the Class of 1980 entered the “web-age” with our own web-page 10 YEARS ago this month. We hope you have found some benefit, some pleasure, some something from our class webpage.

What is that thing Vicki is typing on? Looks like an IBM Selectric (remember those!?) No, it’s the Computer Math terminal. It had a modem you had to put the handset of the telephone in to DIAL into the computer in, I believe, Davenport! And the only output you got from it was off the wide,  dot matrix printer. Boy-howdy, I guess we have advanced a little since then!

Granted we have better (if that is the correct term!) technology in having a Facebook page. But the CHSClassOf1980.com website is and will remain the main depository for info about the class, our reunions and other activities, as well as the main database of classmate information. So whether you visit us here or read the occasional informational posting on Facebook, keep us informed of your whereabouts and if you have something you want to share please do drop us a line… we are here to serve you, the Clinton High School Class of 1980.
